A) Inland Projects

 

Nerad Malegaon Coal Block 

Gupta Group through its operating company Gupta Coalfields & Washeries Ltd. has been allocated Coal block  of Nerad Malegaon, Tal. Wani, Dist. Yavatmal in the Maharashtra State by the Ministry of Coal, Government of India.  The captive coal block will  meet the coal requirement @ 13.96 MMT   for the 2 x 60 MW Power Plant  conceived by the Company through its Subsidiary Company – Gupta Energy Pvt. Ltd.  at village Usegaon, Tahsil and District Chandrapur in the State of Maharashtra.

Warora West Coal Block

Gupta Group  through its corporate entity- Gupta Coal India Ltd.  is also working jointly with Maharashtra State Mining Corporation Limited for Warora East Coal Block allotted by Ministry of Coal, having reserve of 73 MMT in Tal. Warora, Dist. Chandrapur of Maharashtra State.

Ramadongri - Manganese Ore Block
Gupta Group through its operating company Gupta Industries Pvt. Ltd. has been granted Prospecting Licence for Manganese Ore in an over all area of 29.57 hect’s in Village Ramadongri, Tahsil – Parashivani, Dist. Nagpur of Maharashtra state, for a period of 2 (Two) years under the provisions of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 and Mineral Concession Rules, 1960.

B) Overseas Project 

Indonesia

Gupta Group has also made a substantial headway in International Coal Mining after successfully acquiring coal mines in the East Kalimantan, Indonesia having a reserve of 2.5 MMT under the name of “PT Gupta Coal International”. The Company is in the possession of exploration license for coal mining in 2000 hectares area in East Kalimantan Province of Indonesia. Mining activities have commenced and about 50,000 MT / per month of coal is being made available  through this overseas project.  Gupta Group has floated a company under the name and style of “Gupta Global Natural Resources Pte Ltd., Shanton Way, Sinagapore, with a view to source coal internationally from Indonesia, South Africa, Australia & other countries. Singapore being a major financial hub of South East Asia, as a base for all international coal companies and shall prove to be effective sourcing station for procurement of Coal.

South Africa
