INLAND COAL HANDLING
Gupta Group through its operating company Gupta Coal (India) Limited is in the business of Inland Coal Handling and Logistics, and supplies more than 20,million tonnes of high quality coal by Rail and Road to the end users viz. Power Plants, Major Cement and Steel Plants and other small and medium scale units.
The Company also extends services to all core and non-core industries for all coal related matters including coal linkages, transport preferably allotment through its network of field and regional offices equipped with latest communication facilities and fastest means of transport for delivering right quality, right quantity, on time, every time to the end users / consumers .
COAL BENEFICATION
Gupta Group made a new beginning in the year 2001, by venturing into the business of Coal Beneficiation through its independent entity “Gupta Coalfields & Washeries Limited. Presently, this Company has 12 state –of- the- art Coal Washeries under its fold in the state of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Chhatisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa & Jharkhand having total beneficiation capacity of 37.5 MMTPA, for meeting washed – beneficiated coal requirements of the State Electricity Boards, Power, Cement and Steel sectors. The Washeries are located within the jurisdiction of Western Coalfields Ltd. in the State of Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh, Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd. and South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. in the State of Chhatisgarh and Jharkhand and Singareni Collieries Co.Ltd. in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Coal plays a crucial role in India’s future development, particularly in its power sector.
